• What is the difference between waterproofing and damp proofing?+

  Damp proofing limits soil-moisture penetration where hydrostatic pressure is not expected. Waterproofing is used where site conditions require protection beyond damp proofing.

• Do you provide drainage and backfill?+

  Yes. Black Dog installs washed drainage aggregate and provides project-specific backfill around protected exterior foundation walls.

• Do you offer crawl space encapsulation?+

  Yes. Installed inside the crawl space beneath the home, encapsulation uses a continuous vapor retarder over exposed earth with sealed seams and project-specific wall, pier, and penetration details to limit soil-moisture migration.

• Do you provide material spreading?+

  Yes. Black Dog provides controlled stone and aggregate placement for foundation and construction areas. The approach depends on the material, access, placement area, and site conditions.

• What should I share when I contact you?+
